Goals and means in a possibly future attacks against Sweden

The Royal Swedish Academy of Military Sciences is currently running a comprehensive project called KV21 “The Future Battlefield – War Science in the 21st Century”. The project, which is due to be completed in 2018, has a broad approach and involves analyses of global developments, technological developments, the vulnerability of civil society and Russian military capabilities. All within a 10-15 year perspective.

Ultimately, the aim is to find means and methods to increase Sweden's resilience and ability to meet different types of future threats.

This publication constitutes a summary of one of the supporting documents produced within the framework of the study and primarily covers how military means, in combination with other methods, can be utilized in an attack against Sweden.
