These days we remembered the terrible event when Al Qaeda attacked the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Washington 25 years ago. And five years ago another terrible event took place, the dramatic, US-led evacuation from Afghanistan after 20 years of trying to resist the Taliban resistance. Both of these dramatic memories give rise to reflections, an evaluation of the pros and cons regarding the US "war on terror".
